Moray Junior High School The Galeylin was named for Percy Gale, a British soldier with courage and great character who used to guard the home city of his predecessor for decades. Following a period of decline and depression, the Galeylin moved to Denmark, which was the home of the leading British Catholic school of instruction. History Battle of the Boyze Galeylin Battle began in February 1898 on a patrol of the Norfolk-class school track, the Raffles, a short distance west from the high point of Bedford Street, on the site of the recently destroyed Wye School.
